BUS GUIDELINES/RULES/CONSEQUENCES

In an effort to ensure a safe and orderly bus ride for each child, the following rules will be enforced. We would appreciate your help in discussing these rules with your child. you may call us if you have questions or concerns. The rules are as follows:

1. Observe the same conduct as in the classroom.

2. Be courteous, use no profane language.

3. Eating/drinking is not allowed.

4. Keep the bus clean.

5. Cooperate with the driver.

6. Smoking is not allowed.

7. Destructive behavior is not allowed.

8. Stay in your seat.

9. Keep head, hands, and feet inside the bus.

10. The bus driver is authorized to assign seats.

Failure to comply with these rules may result in disciplinary action being taken. The consequences of breaking bus rules are as follows:

1st Offense: Conference with student and/or removal of bus privileges.

Subsequent Offenses: Conference with the student up to the removal of bus privileges.

Behaviors that violate the student handbook may result in additional disciplinary consequences.
