On Friday, September 3rd, a decision will be made to continue mandatory masking or go into strongly recommending masks based on each campus's data and local positivity index in Barry and Lawrence County.
Each Friday (unless otherwise stated in the email), parents will receive an email and text with information on whether or not their students' building will be masking the following week.
On non-required masking days, parents who choose to have their child mask have the opportunity to sign their child up for reminders to wear a mask throughout the day. This is an option for grades PK-4th only. Children wearing masks are not excluded from the unmasked quarantine rules. If you wish for your child to be reminded to wear a mask on non-required masking days, please sign and return the form sent home with your child today and return it by Tuesday, September 7, 2021. If you do not want your child to be reminded on non-masking days to wear a mask, do not turn in the form sent home.
Our priority is to keep students and staff healthy and safe and to keep our schools open for in-person learning throughout the school year. If you have questions or concerns, please call your child's respective office.
