On Thursday, September 11, the Monett Early Childhood Center (MECC) will be holding a special 9/11 Parade to honor and thank the first responders and emergency personnel who serve our community.
Students will gather to cheer and show appreciation as law enforcement, sheriffs, firefighters, conservation rangers, EMTs, and other emergency services parade around the campus. This will be a memorable opportunity for our students to express gratitude and learn the importance of honoring those who protect and serve.
We want to make you aware so that if you are near the MECC campus, you may see emergency vehicles in the area as part of this event. Please know this is a planned activity to honor our local heroes.
