The Monett School District is pleased to announce the selection of Karly Drake as the next Principal of Monett Elementary School, effective August 1, 2025. With over a decade of experience in education, Mrs. Drake brings a strong background in instructional leadership and a deep commitment to student achievement.
Mrs. Karly Drake holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership. Her passion for supporting both students and educators has shaped her collaborative approach to leadership and her focus on academic excellence.
"Being part of the Monett School District and community is truly a blessing," Mrs. Karly Drake shared. "I am excited to partner with our teachers, staff, and families to support our students as they grow and succeed. We have a great year ahead of us, and I can't wait to get started!"
Mrs. Drake began her career in education as a first-grade teacher, later serving six years as an Instructional Coach and two years as an Instructional Specialist. In each of these roles, she has focused on equipping teachers with the tools they need to thrive and creating learning environments where students feel supported and inspired. Karly is passionate about building a positive school culture where both students and staff feel valued, empowered, and encouraged to grow.
