Jessica McNichols has been named the next Assistant Principal at the Monett High School, following the transfer of Ty Goetz to the Athletic Director position.
Mrs. McNichols holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Evangel University and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University. McNichols is currently a high school PE teacher, Adapted PE teacher, and Academic Support teacher at Reeds Spring High School. She is also the Head Girls' Basketball Coach and previously the Athletic Director at Lockwood Schools. Her experience in teaching, coaching, and leadership will be invaluable in her new role as Assistant Principal.
Mrs. McNichols is excited to join the Monett High School and looks forward to supporting the school's mission of providing high-quality education for all students. "My passion for teaching and fostering a positive learning environment has led me to take on this new opportunity," said Jessica McNichols. "I am thrilled to be a part of the Monett School District team and to have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the education of our students. I am looking forward to working with our talented teachers, dedicated staff, and engaged families to create an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning community where all students can thrive."
Jessica McNichols will begin her duties as the Monett High School Assistant Principal on July 1, 2023.
