NJHS Receives National Honor Distinction

Monett Middle School's National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) chapter has earned the NJHS Chapter of Distinction Award, a national honor recognizing excellence in student leadership, academic achievement, and community service. NJHS is supported by the National Principals Association (NPA), which also oversees the National Association of Student Councils.

This recognition reflects the dedication of NJHS members who consistently look for ways to serve their school and community. Each year, students help organize the Veterans Day Assembly, bringing the community together to recognize and honor local veterans. Members also spend time with residents at Oak Pointe and participate in service projects that encourage teamwork, responsibility, and compassion.

The Chapter of Distinction Award recognizes NJHS chapters that meet the organization's Essential Standards for leadership, organization, and student involvement while creating opportunities for members to grow and contribute to their communities.

Congratulations to our Monett Middle School NJHS students and advisors on this outstanding achievement! This national recognition reflects their hard work, leadership, and continued commitment to making a positive difference in Monett.
