Today, we proudly celebrated 60 years of Scott Regional Technology Center—a milestone that represents decades of growth, opportunity, and lasting impact.
Dr. Ralph Scott, for whom our building is named, always emphasized the importance of the regional aspect of Scott Tech. That vision was clearly on display as we welcomed guests from across our communities, including several State Representatives. We are grateful for their continued support of education, especially Career and Technical Education.
It was truly special to see such a wide range of attendees join us, from current students and business and industry partners to former staff members. Your presence is a testament to the lasting impact of Scott Tech and the strong connections built over the years.
We were honored to have Representative Mitchell Boggs present Scott Tech with an official resolution, recognizing this significant milestone and the center’s ongoing contributions to education in our region. We extend our sincere appreciation to Scott Fitzpatrick, Scott Cupps, as well as representation from Joshua Hawley’s office and Eric Burlison’s office for their support and attendance.
We were also honored to hear from former student and instructor Rick Stewart, who spoke about the growth and future promise of Scott Tech. Current student Keenan Kleiboeker shared his experience as well, offering a meaningful glimpse into the opportunities and impact Scott Tech provides today.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating this incredible milestone. Here’s to 60 years of excellence and many more to come!
