Scott Regional Technology Center’s DECA chapter recently celebrated another highly successful trip to the state competition, with students showcasing exceptional professionalism, skill, and dedication. Each participant represented SRTC with pride while competing in events that challenged them to step outside their comfort zones and grow both personally and professionally.
Five SRTC students earned Top Ten finishes in their respective events—an impressive accomplishment at the state level. In addition, three students earned DECA “glass,” qualifying them to attend the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Atlanta this April. SRTC will also be represented by a Leadership Delegate, as well as two students selected to present the Scotty Store at ICDC. In total, five students will attend ICDC to compete and represent SRTC DECA on the international stage. Two additional students also qualified but respectfully declined the opportunity.
This outstanding performance highlights the strength and commitment of SRTC’s DECA chapter, especially given its size. The experiences gained through competition continue to prepare students for future success in business and leadership.
If you see any of these students, be sure to congratulate them on their achievements and ask about their experience at state:
