sRTC Summer Experience

Incoming Freshmen Students & Parents/Guardian, 

SRTC is offering a Summer School program focused on Carpentry, Marketing, Precision Machining, Welding, and Technical English (class descriptions below).

Carpentry: Students will go over safety, hand tools, power tools, and build a small project. 

Marketing: Deep dive into the marketing world with projects that help students understand marketing concepts like the 4Ps, Market Planning, Sales, and Entrepreneurship. 

Technical English: Students will be engaged in real-world, hands-on, collaborative learning experiences that emphasize 21st-century skills to evoke critical thinking, problem solving, and teamwork. Students will use Missouri Standards for speaking and listening, reading, and writing for ELA to complete the different activities. 

Precision Machining: Students will learn the basics of mechanical design using AutoCAD 2D and Inventor 3D. Completed 3D projects can be printed on our 3D printer. If you have any questions about the SRTC Summer Experience program, please contact Eric Roller, SRTC Director, at 417-235-7022.
