We have made an exciting addition to our Health Occupations Program! This year is the first year for our Phlebotomy Course for second year students. Our second year students will gain
advanced patient care skills in conjunction with Health Occupations Internships. Students will sharpen their skills while working as a PCT/CNA at a medical related job of their choice earning high school credit and receiving compensation. The Phlebotomy Course will allow students to gain proficiency in performing blood collection by venipuncture, transporting, and processing patient's blood while earning a phlebotomy certification.
