Ms. Broadaway is the recipient of a $564.41 check to support her students in reading by Horace Mann Insurance in partnership with DonorsChoose.
This year's classroom theme in Ms. Broadaway's class is centered around the Harry Potter series. The funds will purchase a magical collection for her classroom library. There are special illustrated editions of the Harry Potter books, including reference books on the characters, creatures, and magical characters. Ms. Broadaway also plans on purchasing a "gamer chair" for the students to sit while reading.
