Well, things are never slow at the MES library. We are always busy learning something new or reading the books nominated for the various state reading awards.
Our local Kiwanis Club made a generous donation to the MES RIF (Reading is Fundamental) fund. Thanks to their generosity and that of several other anonymous donors, we have enough money in our RIF account to have three book distributions this year. That means that each MES student will receive three books to add to their personal library. Personal libraries help children develop reading skills and a love of reading.
