Diesel Technology

Diesel Technology is for students who are interested in medium and heavy-duty diesel as found in today’s transportation industry. This is a two-year program that follows NATEF (National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation) guidelines. Students will spend time in both classroom studies and in the shop developing hands-on skills. Live and simulated units will be used for instruction. Students must be interested in medium/heavy-duty equipment repair and have some mechanical aptitude. Students need the ability to work with tools, sophisticated machines, solve problems, troubleshoot and develop professional customer service skills. 

Jumpstart your college degree! You can earn up to 32 college credit hours by enrolling in Diesel Technology! Articulating credits through OTC, Linn State, and UNOH.
