Culinary Arts is a two-year course where the homework tastes great! This course prepares students to enter the hospitality industry or post-secondary education at an above-average level. Culinary Arts is a foundation to a great career in the industry. Some career opportunities include chef, baker, cake decorator, salesperson, hotel clerk, and server. Many of the careers require more training at the post-secondary level or on-the-job. Major units of study include safety and sanitation, food prep, customer service, baking, purchasing, costing, and hotel service.
