Today is the last day of summer school. We enjoyed having your student in summer school this year. Students participated in all sorts of fun summer activities indoors and out. We hope students made memories that will last a lifetime. The first day of school is August 24. We will soon share back-to-school information and school supply lists.
Summer school students were eligible to receive up to a $100 gift card for perfect attendance. Student summer school attendance has been calculated by the minute:
- $100 Shopping Card - Perfect Attendance - 0 hours and 0 minutes missed
- $75 Shopping Card - Up to 7 hours missed
- $50 Shopping Card - Over 7 hours, up to 14 hours missed
- 7 hours is equal to one full day absence
- 14 hours is equivalent to two full-day absences
- Tardies and leaving early were counted against the attendance incentive (medical & other appointments are not excused during summer school)
If your child is eligible to receive a gift card, the gift card will be sent home before the end of the day today. If you have questions, please call your child's summer school office.
