Device Pick Up

Parents/Guardian,

The Monett School District is preparing for potential inclement weather next week. In the event of a snowstorm, connected learning (AMI: Alternative Methods of Instruction) days will begin on Tuesday, February 16. We would like for parents to pick up devices and/or student packets at each campus on Friday, February 12, from 11:30–4:30 pm. Each packet will come with additional information to guide students through connected learning snow days.

Connected learning snow days are not required to be made up by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Devices will be fully charged when they are picked up from the school and should only be used for school work.

Each campus is following different procedures for Friday, February 12th:

  • MES: Students will receive a paper packet for four days. Packets may be picked up from the MES office from 11:30-4:30 pm or from the plastic bins by the school entrance after office hours. Teachers will be available by email or Remind on connected learning days from 9:00-12:00 pm.

  • CPE: Devices will be available for pick up from the office from 11:30-4:30 pm. If a student does not have internet access, paper packets for four days will be available.
