Dream Big Aim High at Central Park Elementary!

    Welcome to Central Park Elementary!
Hello!  My name is Mrs. Jennifer Wallace, and I am the principal at Central Park Elementary School.   I am honored to be a part of the Monett School District and look forward to our partnership as we help children learn and grow as productive third and fourth graders.  This year marks my 16th year in the field of education.  I taught third grade for four years, was an Instructional Coach for seven years, and am starting my fifth year as a building principal.  I am proud to say that all 15 years have been with the Monett R-1 School District.  I love being a part of this great district and community!
Central Park has a fantastic group of teachers and support staff whom I am blessed to work with everyday.  At Central Park our students come first; so when you walk into our doors, we will make every effort to help you feel a part of our family and ask that you become a part of helping our students grow and find success!
Central Park consists of seven sections of third grade and seven sections of fourth grade to house approximately 350 students. Our Central Park staff has high expectations for our students. We love and support our students academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. We offer programs to assist all areas to meet the needs of our students as we strive to help every child find joy and success each day.  We focus on student learning!
We encourage parents and community members to volunteer at Central Park. We are proud to be a part of the wonderful family-centered community of Monett and hope that you will find time to come and visit us. We have a small Parent Advisory Committee and ask that all Central Park parents consider being a part of this organization. If you would like to be a part of our parent group, please let your child's teacher know or contact the office. We will add you to our parent contact list. Together we can do so much for our children!
Please keep watching our website, Facebook page, Twitter page and join our the Central Park Elementary School Remind group as we continue to update and provide you with information to help you stay informed about what is happening at Central Park.  I encourage you to stay in close contact with your child’s teacher so you will have specific classroom information to help you and your child as the year progresses.  Please feel free to contact the office at Central Park anytime you need additional information.  The office number is 354-2168.
Again, I look forward to working with you and your child!
    Jennifer Wallace
